• East Sussex BN8 6PM
• £23.00 to £26.00 per hour including holiday pay
• 8 to 12 hours per shift
• Day, night and weekend shifts available
• Temp to Perm Opportunity Available

A leading Traffic Management and Civil Engineering company is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to operate from its depot in Ringmer, East Sussex. The role offers consistent work and the opportunity to transition into a permanent role with the company.

The Role

Accompanied by a team of road maintenance engineers, you will be undertaking 'Wag and Drag' work loading and unloading gas boilers for road Tarmac/Bitumen work.

Responsibilities

• Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles across multiple sites
• Assisting with traffic management or civil engineering projects
• Liaising with planners to complete scheduled jobs
• Adhering to all safety and compliance standards

Requirements

• 'Wag and drag' experience will beneficial
• Valid HGV Class 1 licence
• Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• CSCS Labour certificate
• Reliable and professional approach to work
