HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER MULTI-DROP DELIVERY / ROMFORD (RM8)

We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established food distribution operation with over 50 years of industry experience. This role involves delivering ambient and dry food products to supermarkets and restaurants.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with consistent work and long-term potential. Immediate starts available.

Role: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E)
Contract Type: Temp to Perm / Ad-hoc
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Start Time: 06:30 AM
Location: Romford (RM8)
Drops: 38 deliveries per shift

PAY

Standard Rate Weekday (MonFri)

Basic Hourly Rate: £18.00
Holiday Pay (Rolled Up): £2.51
Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £20.51

Overtime: Not applicable
Pay Frequency: Weekly

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

Completing 38 deliveries per shift to supermarkets and restaurants
Transporting ambient and dry food products
Working with a drivers mate (unless forklift delivery required)
Ensuring accurate and timely deliveries
Completing paperwork and vehicle checks
Maintaining high standards of professionalism

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Valid CPC Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred
Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
Must attend work with correct PPE and workwear

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Occasional night-out work may be required (pre-arranged)
Temp-to-perm after 12 continuous weeks
Consistent work with long-term opportunities
