Business Development Manager – Event Technology & Venue Solutions

Central London (Hybrid)

£45k–£50k + commission


Ark Recruitment are excited to be partnering with an award winning event tech business looking to hire a Business Development Manager to support continued growth across the UK market.


This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing B2B meetings and events platform that combines innovative AI-powered technology with venue sourcing and event solutions, working with some of the world’s leading brands and corporate clients.


The role focuses on driving revenue growth through new and existing venue partnerships, selling a range of technology and subscription-based solutions designed to help venues increase visibility, conversion, and revenue.


The Role


As Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle from qualified introduction through to close, building strong long-term relationships with venue partners across the UK.


Working closely with a dedicated SDR, you’ll focus on converting opportunities, identifying growth within accounts, and positioning the business as a leading event technology partner within the venue and hospitality space.


This is a consultative, relationship-led sales role suited to someone commercially driven, confident presenting to senior stakeholders, and experienced in selling SaaS, event, or hospitality solutions.


Key Responsibilities


  • Drive new business growth across venue and hospitality partners
  • Manage the full sales cycle from qualified lead through to contract close
  • Sell a range of event technology and venue marketing solutions
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with venue clients
  • Present tailored proposals demonstrating ROI and commercial value
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements
  • Work closely with SDRs on prospecting strategy and conversion goals
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to support client success
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and account growth
  • Represent the business within the events and venue industry
  • Maintain a strong pipeline and deliver against revenue targets


You’ll bring:


  • 4+ years’ experience within SaaS, B2B sales, event technology, hospitality, or venue solutions
  • Proven success in a new business or closing sales role
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • A target-driven mindset with a track record of achieving revenue goals
  • Experience working collaboratively with SDRs and cross-functional teams
  • Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, adaptable, and self-motivated approach
