Orientation: Industry – Manufacturing or Healthcare; Function – Finance or Supply Chain; Geography – UK.
AI impact examples (Power Platform + Copilot) for grounding
- Finance: AP/AR exception triage copilot (invoice/claim on hold Q&A), close checklist + variance narrative drafting, and governed spend insights—triggering approvals and case routing via Power Automate/Power Apps.
- Supply Chain: PO/ASN & supplier-comm status copilot, inventory/production or med-surg stock exception summaries with case creation in Dataverse, and supplier onboarding workflows with audit trails.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end Power Platform solution architecture (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages) across environments, integrations, and non-functional requirements (security, performance, scale).
- Design and build custom copilots in Copilot Studio, including topics/actions, orchestration, prompt engineering, tool selection, and knowledge grounding (e.g., Dataverse, SharePoint, and APIs) using RAG patterns where appropriate.
- Establish governance and ALM (DLP, environments, solution layering, pipelines, testing) and guide stakeholders through discovery, POCs/MVPs, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Provide advisory leadership and drive CoE + enablement: opportunity sizing/ROI, target-state architecture, intake & prioritization, standards/patterns, training/adoption, support model, and guardrails.
Required Skills
- 10+ years IT/cloud with deep Power Platform architecture (Dataverse security, integrations, environment strategy).
- Copilot Studio custom copilots (actions/orchestration), grounding/RAG patterns, and evaluation.
- Enterprise governance/ALM (DLP, solution lifecycle, pipelines, testing) and Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Azure, Entra ID).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in CS (or related) or equivalent; Power Platform Solution Architect Expert and/or relevant AI credentials preferred.
- Advisory skills: copilot opportunity sizing/ROI, risk & compliance, platform roadmaps, and CoE operating model (governance, enablement, support, lifecycle).
