HGV Class 2 Day Driver

Job description

Red12 Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Multi Drop Drivers for ongoing work based out of Ipswich.

This role involves longer distance deliveries with low drop numbers, making it ideal for drivers who prefer planned routes rather than intensive parcel-style multi drop work.

Job Details

• HGV Class 2 Multi Drop Work
• Ipswich based
• Ongoing work available
• Typically 25 drops per day
• Longer distance deliveries
• No heavy parcel-style multi drop work
• Monday to Friday shifts available

Pay Rates

• £18.00 per hour PAYE
• £20.00 per hour after 10 hours worked daily

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Multi drop experience essential
• Tail lift experience preferred
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Good understanding of driver hours and compliance regulations

Duties

• Completing deliveries to commercial customers
• Using tail lift equipment where required
• Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
• Maintaining a professional attitude with customers
