We're looking for an ambitious individual to join our Audit team at Sumer NI. This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your existing experience, take on more responsibility in audit fieldwork, and develop your technical and leadership skills. You'll work closely with experienced seniors and managers, gaining valuable exposure to a diverse client base and receiving the support you need to progress towards qualification.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting audit fieldwork and assisting in managing workflow within the audit team.

Preparing audit documentation and contributing to client deliverables under the guidance of senior team members.

Helping to identify key issues during audits and suggesting practical, well‐reasoned solutions.

Assisting in the development of junior team members through collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Building strong client relationships and acting as a reliable point of contact for day‐to‐day queries.

Developing your understanding of technical compliance and contributing to advisory projects as your experience grows.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Working towards a relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA)

Previous experience in an audit role within practice, ideally involving client‐facing work

Good understanding of audit principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting

Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy

Confident communicator who can build rapport with clients and colleagues at all levels

Well organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Proactive approach to learning, professional development, and taking on new challenges
