SEND Teaching Assistant (Drama/Creative Focus)Are you a caring and creative individual looking to support young people with additional needs? Do you have a passion for drama, creativity, or the arts? This could be the perfect role for you.

We're looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming team, supporting students with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs. You'll play a key role in helping pupils build confidence, develop social skills, and engage in learning, using creativity and drama as powerful tools.

Your role will include:

Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups

Assisting with creative, and imaginative based activities

Helping to manage behaviour in a calm and positive way

Working closely with teachers and support staff to meet individual needs

We're looking for someone who:

Has experience working with young people (SEND/SEMH experience is ideal but not essential)

Has a creative background or interest in drama, theatre, or the arts

Is patient, adaptable, and empathetic

Can build strong, trusting relationships with students

Is passionate about inclusive education

Requirements:

Right to work in the UK

A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for supporting SEND students

All pay rates quoted are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
