DescriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified Occupational Therapist to join the team. This is a part‐time role working 15 hours per week and you will spend your time on our PICU ward (Purdown). Responsibilities include carrying out assessments, contributing to ward rounds and care plans, and liaising with other therapists and consultant psychiatrists. The salary is up to £14,247 depending on experience. The facility is Bristol Hospital (Stapleton, M32), a Grade II listed building set in extensive grounds, just off the M32 and less than three miles from the centre of Bristol, with free on‐site parking. We offer 77 beds across seven wards, providing a range of services including Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU), eating disorders, acute care, rehab and recovery.
What you'll be doingYou will be part of a compassionate team committed to our patients' wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans and undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
