Job description

Employability Practitioner TutorPermanent role. Home based with travel to Walsall and Staffordshire twice a month (mileage paid). This role is for an Employability Practitioner Level 4.

Seeking a passionate and knowledgeable apprenticeship tutor to help learners develop the skills, confidence and workplace behaviours needed to thrive.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, structured learning sessions aligned to the employability practitioner apprenticeship standard.

Provide one‐to‐one coaching online and in small groups online.

Mentor and support learners tailored to their needs.

Deal with learners who work mainly as coaches with challenging caseloads, careers advisors, case workers and IAG advisors.

Prepare learners for end‐point assessment.

Use a range of digital tools and platforms to deliver blended learning.

Track learner progress, set clear targets and maintain records.

Build strong relationships with employers to support workplace development and on‐the‐job learning.

Ensure all delivery meets quality, compliance and safeguarding expectations.

Qualifications & Experience

Must be able to travel to Walsall and Staffordshire twice a month (mileage paid).

Possess a recognised teaching, assessing or coaching qualification or a willingness to work towards one.

Experience working as an Employability Practitioner or employment advisor, careers coach or a similar role.

Hold a recognised Level 4 or equivalent in information advice and guidance (IAG); Level 3 IAG or equivalent may be accepted.

Salary & Hours£28,000 per annum. Working Monday to Thursday 8:45am – 5:00pm and Friday 8:45am – 4:00pm. 45‐minute lunch break each day.
