Childrens Residential Support Worker - Learning Disabilities

Job DescriptionJump Lane Recruitment are recruiting for Support Workers for one of our clients who are a leading provider of care for young people between 11-18 year olds with Learning Disabilities.

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for assisting the Registered Manager in the daily running of the home, including staff management, budgets, and ensuring that a high standard of care is maintained at all times.

Requirements of the Residential Care Worker (Young People)

Ability to communicate with a range of people/young people

Be able to provide constant care and support to the young people

A desire to work with young people who may show signs of challenging behaviour

Commit to working with children who may be at riskSleeping in duties and shift work, including evenings and occasional weekends on a rota system. Based on a 40-hour working week

Ability to work as part of a team.
