Senior Care Assistant (Team Leader) DaysThe Rowans Care Home, Wigan

8am - 8pm

44 hours per week

Role OverviewAs a Team Leader at The Rowans you will be placed at the heart of the home, working with residents to support their daily lives and well‐being. You will lead the care team, champion quality care, and foster positive relationships with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities and Duties

Lead the care team at all times to ensure safe, effective, and well‐led care provision.

Support residents to achieve outcomes through an enabling and supportive approach.

Represent The Rowans brand by maintaining a professional and welcoming presence for all team members, residents, and visitors.

Attend and actively contribute to team meetings.

Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Home Manager to support overall functioning of the home.

Skills, Qualifications and Abilities

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Hold NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

Experience within a similar environment desirable.

Flexible, patient, with a can‐do caring attitude and a real people‐person approach.

Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; able to learn new systems quickly.

Collaborative teamwork while being self‐motivated and capable of working independently.
