Elevate and International Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover)

Mayflex is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team on a maternity cover basis, supporting our Data Centre and International business units .

This is a key, hands‐on role responsible for the end‐to‐end marketing of Elevate across the UK and international markets, while also providing international marketing support for Excel Networking Solutions through Mayflex's distributor and partner network across Europe. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, international sales teams, distribution partners, and external agencies to drive awareness, demand, and growth‐helping position Elevate and Excel as leading solutions within their markets.

What You'll Be DoingIn this varied and fast‐paced role, you'll:

Own and deliver the Elevate and International Marketing plans , working closely with Sales Directors to align campaigns with commercial objectives

Lead marketing activity across offline and digital channels , from campaign planning through to execution and performance reporting

Support the ongoing promotion of Excel Networking Solutions across European markets, ensuring distributors have consistent, high‐quality marketing assets

Build strong relationships with international sales teams, Sonepar Operating Companies (OpCos), and distribution partners

Manage and brief external suppliers and agencies, including designers, printers, and PR publications

Produce clear, compelling copy for campaigns, collateral, digital communications, and social media

Ensure consistent application of Excel and Elevate brand guidelines across all markets

Manage marketing budgets, highlighting risks or potential overspend proactively

Plan and deliver international trade shows and exhibitions , including logistics, collateral, and on‐stand marketing materials

Oversee translations and localisation of marketing materials and communications, including eNewsletters

Manage the Elevate LinkedIn channel , driving engagement and follower growth through organic and sponsored activity

Use Microsoft Copilot and other AI‐powered tools to improve efficiency, insight, reporting, and content development

Support CRM data accuracy and promote best practice across sales teams

Provide ad‐hoc support to the wider marketing team when required

About YouYou'll be an experienced Marketing Manager who thrives on variety, ownership, and collaboration. You'll bring:

Proven experience delivering integrated marketing activity across digital and offline channels

Strong experience developing and managing marketing strategies and campaign plans

Excellent communication and copywriting skills , with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and markets

Confidence working cross‐functionally with sales, product, technical teams, and external partners

A highly organised, self‐motivated approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously

A strong analytical mindset, with a practical understanding of campaign KPIs and performance reporting

A proactive, innovative outlook with a continuous‐improvement mindset

The ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines

Familiarity with marketing platforms and tools, and the ability to learn new systems quickly

Experience using Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools to enhance productivity and marketing effectiveness (or a strong desire to develop this capability)
