Junior AI Designer

Job description

Junior AI DesignerBulkTM is on an incredible journey, with a mission to move the business from a manufacturing‐led retailer to a destination brand for active nutrition. We are shaking up the sports nutrition industry through disruptive marketing campaigns that help people think differently about our brand – and we want you to be a part of it!

We want passionate risk‐takers, people that like to challenge our thinking, and people that live and breathe digital with an affinity to the world of nutrition, health, fitness, and sports.

In a nutshellWe're looking for a Junior AI Designer to join our Studio team and support the production of digital content across eCommerce, social, campaigns and brand channels. Working alongside our wider team of Designers, you'll use generative AI tools to help create high‐quality visual assets at speed and scale, supporting and enhancing the creative process rather than replacing it.

This role is ideal for someone early in their design career who has a strong eye for digital design, an interest in emerging creative technology, and is excited by the potential of AI as a tool within modern design workflows. You'll help bring ideas to life across a variety of formats while collaborating closely with the wider creative team to ensure all output remains original, brand‐led and creatively driven.

We see AI as a tool to expand creative possibilities, improve efficiency and support our designers in exploring new ideas – not as a replacement for creative thinking, craft or collaboration.

Responsibilities

Confidently use self‐hosted AI tools and workflows, such as Figma Weave, ComfyUI, or similar platforms, to support and automate creative production processes

Create visually engaging brand assets using a range of generative AI tools across image, video and digital content creation

Support the delivery of creative content across social, ecommerce, campaigns, web and wider digital channels

Work collaboratively with Performance Marketing, Brand, eCommerce and Studio teams to bring creative concepts and campaigns to life

Experiment with emerging AI tools, prompting techniques and creative workflows to explore new visual directions and improve content efficiency

Ensure all creative outputs remain aligned with brand identity, tone of voice and visual guidelines across all touchpoints

Assist in developing and refining internal workflows, processes and best practices for AI‐assisted design within the wider creative team

Stay up to date with new AI platforms, design trends and evolving creative technologies within the digital and content space

Qualifications

Experience using generative AI tools such as Midjourney, Runway, Kling, ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, Flux or similar creative platforms

A portfolio showcasing a mix of digital design work and AI‐assisted creative projects

Understanding of prompting techniques and the ability to experiment, refine and iterate on AI‐generated outputs

Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator

A strong eye for design, composition, typography and brand consistency across digital content

Naturally creative, curious and interested in emerging technology, AI and digital culture

Comfortable experimenting with new tools, workflows and creative approaches in a fast‐moving environment

Strong attention to detail with the ability to take feedback and collaborate within a wider creative team

Good communication skills and confidence explaining creative ideas and design decisions

An interest in the ethical and responsible use of AI within creative industries

Eager to learn, develop new skills and stay up to date with evolving trends across AI, design and content creation
