Hours20 hours per week (part‐time)

Responsibilities

Support the District Nursing Team to deliver evidence‐based treatment and care to house‐bound patients.

Prevent unnecessary admissions and support the earliest possible discharge from hospital.

Attend patients at their homes and care homes to provide nursing care.

Work within a 24‐hour, 7‐day Community Nursing Service, including weekends and public holidays.

Provide evening cover and travel across the Fife‐wide division as required.

Qualifications

Previous community experience, especially in nursing or social care.

Phlebotomy skills are an advantage.

Ability to travel across Fife and to provide evening cover.

Knowledge and experience to support the role; an appropriate SVQ is desirable.

Legal right to work in the UK; membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme required before appointment.
