About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled, and motivated Hearing Care Assistant to join our team. This is a patient‐facing role supporting both NHS and private patients across multiple clinic locations. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organised, and confident working in a busy clinical environment. You will play a key role in delivering high‐quality aftercare, troubleshooting hearing aids, and supporting audiologists in day‐to‐day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide aftercare for hearing aids, including cleaning, re‐tubing, minor repairs, and troubleshooting.
Educate patients on correct use, maintenance, and expectations.
Deliver empathetic, patient‐centred support to help patients adjust to hearing aids.
Maintain accurate patient records and follow data protection requirements.
Manage clinic stock and equipment, ensuring everything is organised and ready for use.
Work collaboratively with audiologists and support smooth clinic operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Hearing Care Assistant qualification (University Certificate or equivalent)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer literacy
Commitment to delivering patient‐centred care
Preferred Skills
Experience in customer‐facing or clinical environments
Familiarity with clinical or office software
Valid UK driving licence (location dependent)
Ability to work independently in a clinical setting
