Are you a recent Psychology graduate looking to gain hands‐on experience working with children before pursuing a career in education, educational psychology, therapy, social care, or mental health support?
Aspire People are currently recruiting Psychology graduates to support pupils within primary schools, working closely with children who may have additional needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and social communication needs.
This role is ideal for graduates looking to develop practical experience supporting children's emotional wellbeing, behaviour, learning, and development within a school environment.

The school is looking for someone who is patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children to overcome barriers to learning.
The Role
Supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs within the classroom
Assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour support strategies
Supporting learning through targeted interventions and classroom activities
Helping pupils develop confidence, communication, and social skills
Working closely with class teachers, SEND staff, and pastoral teams
Building positive and consistent relationships with pupils
The Ideal Candidate Will
Hold a Psychology degree or related qualification
Have a genuine interest in child development and SEND support
Be calm, resilient, and adaptable
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Be interested in progressing within education or child‐focused careers
Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential
