Job description

Filey Academy, part of Delta Academies Trust, is seeking an English Tutor to commence in September 2026 on a casual, as‐and‐when‐required basis.

Responsibilities

Support identified students, both in small groups and one‐to‐one sessions, with a key focus on Key Stage 4 English.

Qualifications and Experience

Relevant teaching qualifications and experience with Key Stage 4 students.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Evidence of successful teaching practice and ability to deliver tailored lessons.

Hours and Working Arrangements

Casual, as and when required.

Location

Filey Academy – 66 St Mary's Road, Filey, North Yorkshire, YO25 5NE.
