About the roleConnex Education are supporting a mainstream primary school in Leeds in appointing a Behaviour Support Worker to work on a full time 121 basis.
About the schoolThis welcoming Secondary school prides itself on the community within the school. As a behaviour support worker, you will be supporting various pupils in school in this multicultural school. The school is looking for a behaviour support worker with experience of working with SEMH children in any capacity who can help the class teacher create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Assignment detailsThis role is long term assignment starting ASAP (32.5 hours per week, term time only). Until the end of the Academic year. The role may continue further in to September for the right candidate.

Person Specification
Have experience of working in a classroom environment or similar setting
Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
At least 3 months experience with SEMH pupils
Team Teach trained preferred but not essential
