Location: Horsham, West Sussex

Salary: £13.60 per hour

Service Type: Adult Complex Care Service

Speciality: Mental Health, Autism, Learning Disability

Our service supports 4 people who require a wide range of support, including emotional support, learning new coping mechanisms, and expressing their true selves.Each of them has several hours of 1:1 support during the day as well as some shared support day and night.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with people with enduring mental health conditions, a keen interest in the psychology behind complex behaviours that challenge, and a willingness to learn and practice Positive Behaviour Support.

You will need to be adaptable, flexible, mature, and able to support our people to regain independence through empowerment, active support, positive risk-taking and out-of-the-box thinking. It is important to note that some supported individuals may self-harm, have anxiety, or occasionally display behaviours of concern. The role can be tough, but the rewards outweigh the challenges.
