Location: St Philip Neri Catholic Primary School, Ellison Road, Dunston, Tyne & Wear NE8 2QU

Grade: Grade B, SCP 3 (£24,796 per annum, pro rata)

Hours: 15 hours per week (Monday- Friday, 3pm-6pm, Term Time Only (38 weeks), Fixed Term until 31/03/2027)

St Philip Neri has established wraparound provision for children aged 4-11. We have an exciting opportunity for a Wraparound Care Assistant to join our welcoming team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the care of the children wraparound provision.

We are seeking an individual to:

Provide a high standard of care for children in wraparound provision.

Work as part of a team to provide and maintain an enabling, stimulating, safe environment.

Build and maintain a strong working partnership with parents and carers.

Ensure the wraparound provision is run to meet the needs of the children and complies with all necessary compliance legislation and policies.

The successful candidate will have:

A minimum of Grade C Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.

An understanding of the needs of children.

An ability to work within a team.

Good communication skills.

Good organisation skills.
