Hours: Part‐Time – 25 hours per weekWorking Pattern: Monday to Friday, any hours between 8:30 am and 4:00 pmAbout the Role Friends of the Elderly (FotE) is a not‐for‐profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel for older people. Woking Day Care in Surrey offers a wide range of daily activities suited to each client's interests and preferences. As a Day Care Assistant you will deliver a high standard of holistic care and support, helping clients maintain independence, autonomy, and choice while leading fulfilled lives.Responsibilities Put clients at the heart of day‐care delivery and meet their physical, social, and wellbeing needs.Ensure high standards of care are consistently met.Facilitate each client's choice, dignity, and respect.Keep clients safe and secure at all times.Qualifications & Experience Experience working with older people is preferred.NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential; all training will be provided.Successful applicants will need to undertake an enhanced DBS check; a criminal record will not automatically disqualify but will be considered on a case‐by‐case basis.Right to work in the UK.Safeguarding All staff follow the charity's Safeguarding Policy & Procedures.
