About the roleAt Avery Healthcare, we are dedicated to supporting the people who care for our residents. As a Care Assistant at Avery Park Care Home in Kettering, your focus will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. Training will be provided to ensure confidence in your role.

Key responsibilities

Assist residents with personal hygiene and care, ensuring optimal independence, dignity, and respect.

Recognise and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls, and infections, escalating any identified risks promptly.

Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.

Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

Qualifications & requirements

A DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).

Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

The role does not require prior experience; a thorough induction and training programme will prepare you for the role.
