Complex Care Assistant – ShoeburynessSuperior Healthcare is proud to support adults and children with complex health needs to live safely, comfortably, and independently at home.

We are now recruiting Complex Care Assistants to support an adult client living at home with her husband in Shoeburyness. Following an operation during which her spinal cord was accidentally clipped, she is now living with paralysis and requires compassionate, skilled support to maintain her quality of life at home.

This is a 2:1 care package , with both day and night shifts available.

About the RoleAs part of the client's dedicated care team, you will provide high‐quality, one‐to‐one clinical and personal support. Your responsibilities will include:

Tracheostomy care

Cough assist

Deep oral suctioning

Nebuliser therapy

Invasive ventilation

Medication administration

Catheter care

Personal care including manual bowel evacuation

Supporting a client with spinal cord injury and paralysis

Promoting comfort, dignity, and emotional wellbeing

This role is ideal for someone calm, confident, and committed to delivering exceptional complex care.

Shifts Available

12‐hour waking night shifts: weekends 8pm–8am

Both shifts are 2:1 , and additional hours may be available locally for those seeking flexibility.
