As a Complex Care Support Worker, you'll provide compassionate, person-centred support that enables people with complex health needs to live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes, surrounded by the people and routines they know best.

You'll step into both new and existing care packages, bringing reassurance, stability, and confidence to clients, families, and care teams. What You'll Be Doing

Delivering high-quality personal care and daily living support

Promoting independence, dignity, choice, and wellbeing

Following personalised care plans tailored to each client's needs and goals

Providing reassurance and continuity for families and loved ones

Supporting existing care teams and modelling best practice

Communicating effectively with Care Managers and clinical professionals

Assisting with medication, equipment, and care supplies where required

Specialist Clinical Training IncludedYou'll receive training in a range of complex care interventions, including:

Tracheostomy care, suction, and tube changes

Blood glucose monitoring (BGM)

Cough assist and nebulisers

Injections and insulin administration

Enteral feeding and medication

Invasive and non-invasive ventilation

Oral suction and oxygen administration

Catheter maintenance solutions

Neurogenic bowel management

Clinical observations

Flexibility That Works for You

Pay rate up to £15 per hour

Zero-hours contract initially, with contracted hours discussed after 3 successful months

Various 12-hour day and night shifts available

Ad hoc assignments depending on service needs

Live-out shifts available, with accommodation provided where travel is not practical

Some unsociable hours may be required

This role will mainly cover packages across Cumbria, although occasional travel outside the area may be required. Where same-day travel is unreasonable, accommodation will be provided.

What We're Looking For

Full UK Driving Licence

Previous experience in complex care

Confidence working independently and using initiative

Strong communication and organisational skills

Calm, compassionate, and professional approach

Commitment to delivering person-centred care

Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification (or above) desirable
