Job description
Responsibilities
Support the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care.
Monitor the wellbeing of each resident and be aware of any changes that impact care plans, ensuring new needs are met and written records updated.
Participate in the person‐centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring and undertaking monthly evaluations.
Support residents with their medication requirements.
Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required.
Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
Requirements
DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by the employer).
Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
At least 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
Responsiveness and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities.
Location: Senior Care Assistant at Butlers Mews Care Home, Rugby.
