Role OverviewThe Care Assistant will support residents with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily activities. The role also includes light domestic duties and contributing to a positive and respectful care environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver personal care (washing, dressing, bathing)

Assist with domestic tasks (laundry, drink preparation, washing up)

Support residents with dementia, learning disabilities, and frailty

Work collaboratively as part of the care team

Uphold dignity and independence of residents

Participate in training and development programs

Required Skills and ExperienceEssential

Experience in home care or care home settings

Understanding of care plans and person-centred care

Care Certificate (or willingness to complete)

Compassionate and reliable nature

Ability to work as part of a team

Desirable

Driving skills (not specified as essential)
