Role Summary Ward 106/107 is a 33 bedded fast paced ward specialising in Urology and Gynaecology. The post holder will support the registered nurse by caring for patients pre and post operatively with various urological and Gynaecological conditions.Responsibilities Assist with personal careAssist with toileting needsAssist with mealtimes and feedingPerform observations and use Vital PacRecord ECGsConduct bladder scanningMonitor blood glucosePerform venepunctureEmpty catheters and record fluid input and outputScreen for MRSAClean the wardRecord and document careEscort patientsSupport delegated tasks within the scope of practiceQualifications GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or Level 2 Functional SkillsFull Care Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (NVQ only from a regulated awarding body)
