Autism Support Worker – SloughAre you interested in helping young children with mental health needs? Passionate about making a difference? Aspire to work in the education sector? A great opportunity is available for an Autism Support Worker in a lovely school in Slough. You will be working directly with students who need assistance in the classroom. The school caters for students who have a range of complex needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and behavioural difficulties. The role starts ASAP.

RoleThis role offers no two days are the same and every day will bring something new. The school requires a positive, enthusiastic and resilient individual to join their team. As a classroom assistant, you will be directly involved in helping children in the classroom with their daily tasks and maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment. You will help the class teacher prepare learning materials and lessons for the day and keep track of children's progress.

Experience working with SEN children

Patient, nurturing and keen to learn

Excellent communication skills

Understand the importance of safeguarding

Bring a fun element to the classroom

Start date: ASAP

Working days: Monday – Friday

Hours: Full time – long term

Pay: £90 – £110 per day

Graduates will also be considered. This opportunity is suitable for aspiring psychologists, teachers or therapists, and those interested in the education sector.
