Team Medical are recruiting Support Workers / Care Assistants in the area of Wimborne (Dorset).

A Gentleman with a complex acquired brain injury is cared for by a team of two personal assistants, 24/7 on 12 hour shifts within a rolling rota, he lives in a bespoke unit designed for his needs and even though he has full movement, he has no cognitive ability is doubly incontinent and hydrated and medicated via a PEG suffers seizures and requires assistance with every aspect of his life.

The individual will be living within the Wimborne area within his own adapted house.

The ideal candidates will have relevant experience dealing with complex needs in a healthcare setting, be mobile, flexible and have the mind-set to work with a single client for long periods, day's and/or night's who benefits from interactivity and supportive interaction, being brain damaged does not mean being without a brain and the ideal candidates with have empathy with this fine differentiation.

Permanent Contracted Shift times are : 12 hour days shifts / 12 Hour Wake Night shifts 08:00 - 20:00 / 20:00 - 08:00 -- Hourly rate : £9 - £11:50 - Full or Part time hours available to suit. Contracted Hours Available!!
