Mental Health Support Worker (Days/Nights)Location: Fernside House, Armley, Leeds

Hours: 38.5 hours per week

Salary: £13.45 per hour + £14.95 overtime

Shift Pattern: 07:45am - 07:45pm OR 7:45pm – 7:45am, two-week rolling rota

Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun

Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri

Active Pathways is delighted to be recruiting for a compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our brand-new residential service, Fernside House , in Armley, Leeds. Fernside House will provide a safe and supportive home for men with enduring mental health needs, and we're looking for someone who shares our commitment to person‐centred, recovery‐focused care.

Responsibilities

Support individuals on their journey to recovery through person‐centred care in a residential setting.

Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.

Work within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships with residents.

Provide emotional and practical support to residents.

Promote engagement in meaningful activities and encourage social inclusion.

Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and the community.

Promote independence and self‐confidence, helping residents regain control over their lives.

Experience Required

Experience within a Mental Health or Residential setting

Can build rapport with ease with not only the residents but the wider team

Understanding the importance of offering person‐centered quality care
