Friends of the Elderly (FotE) is a not‐for‐profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel. With over 120 years of experience, the charity offers care home and day‐care services for older people, and grants for those in financial difficulty.

Redcot, specialising in residential care, is set in the delightful town of Haslemere, Surrey. Overlooking beautiful gardens and surrounded by countryside, much of which is owned by the National Trust, Redcot offers a unique, tranquil setting.

We are recruiting for a Care Assistant – Nights to join the team.

Qualifications and ExperienceAt least 6 months experience in a care home environment. A Care Certificate or a minimum of Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care is preferred, but not essential – training can be provided.

Empathetic, respectful, self‐motivated and flexible team player who is willing to go the extra mile, enabling residents to lead fulfilled lives.

Passion for care and a desire to build solid relationships with residents, putting them at the heart of all you do.

Criminal Record ChecksDue to the nature of the role, an enhanced DBS check is required. Successful applicants will undergo this check, and offer of employment depends on a satisfactory outcome.
