Protocol Education is working alongside SEND Schools in Shrewsbury and the surrounding areas to appoint recent graduates into Education.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your subject knowledge and skills from your studies or previous work experience in a rewarding and fulfilling role within a SEND setting. If you have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities and aspire to work in schools or become a teacher, this role would be ideal for you. Relevant experience working with children/young people with SEND is desired but not essential.

There are multiple roles available, varying based on your goals and experience.

Job Overview

Building and maintaining positive relationships with students

Supporting learners with SEND through all aspects of education while promoting independence

Adapting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with SEND

Implementing EHCP (Education, Health, and Care Plan) recommendations where necessary

Nurturing students' social, emotional health, and well‐being

What the School is Looking For

Passion for working with children/young people with SEND

Desire to become a teacher or work in education

Graduate from a relevant field – Desirable but not essential!

Ability to build positive rapport with both students and staff

Resilient, patient, and nurturing characteristics

Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing tasks/situations

£92 – £100 per day depending on experience
