On demand pay.Overview Job title: Senior Care Assistant. Location: Weston-super-Mare area. You will work as part of the care team to provide person-centred care and support to residents.Responsibilities You will ensure that residents receive personal care from you and your team including bathing, dressing and oral care within their preferences, and actively promote right to choice and independence.You will contribute to and carry out care reviews with your residents to ensure their plans reflect their needs.You will administer residents' medication in a safe and compliant way.You will lead in and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.You may support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, and may be called up on to lead the home where more senior managers are not available.Qualifications / Requirements A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK.NVQ Level 3 or Health and Social Care qualification or be working towards it.Must be flexible to work 48 hours per week, including alternate weekends.What is required from you Additional expectations include person-centred care and a commitment to promoting residents' independence.About Agincare We're a family run business that's been caring and supporting people since 1986.
