Join Our Team as a Complex Care Support Worker – Make a Real Difference!Are you looking for a rewarding and engaging role in complex clinical care? We're offering an exciting opportunity for a support worker to work alongside our client with complex needs in Rockland St. Mary, near Norwich.Hours: Waking nights, 24 hours per week & bank (19:30 - 07:30)About the Role You'll be supporting a young man in his 20's who has complex needs due to Alfie's syndrome and spinal injury, including seizures, mobility issues and learning difficulties. We're looking for someone with experience in complex care and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy.He lives at home with his loving and lively family. He enjoys football, baking, quiz shows and chatting - his favourite topics range from Peppa Pig to world politics. He's warm, funny, and truly inspiring. Your role will be to support him physically and emotionally, helping him live life to the fullest.What We're Looking For Due to the client's needs, we're seeking a female support worker with:A genuine passion for care and making a differenceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate, patient, and empathetic natureReliable, committed, and flexible approachExperience in complex care and managing challenging behavioursAbility to work independently and as part of a teamYou'll need to be confident working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to build a trusting relationship with the client and her family.Key Responsibilities Following a detailed care plan with precisionMonitoring and responding to seizures and epilepsy-related symptomsAdministering rescue medication if required, according to the care planProviding reassurance and safety during post-seizure recoverySupporting a daily/nightly bowel and urinary programmeManaging mobility and physiotherapy exercisesDelivering medication safely and accuratelyUsing NG tube for drainage and bipap machine for breathing supportUsing suction equipment when neededEnsuring a calm and attentive atmosphere as the client may tire easilyWhy Join Us?
