Job description

Join Alcedo Care as a Care Assistant and support people of all ages to live safely and independently in their homes.

Base Pay & BenefitsPay £13.40 to £15.75 per hour (equivalent to rolled‐up pay £15.47 to £17.89) plus pension, holiday pay and a £500 referral bonus (subject to T&Cs). We offer a 2‐day paid training programme, company‐paid DBS until 31 December 2025, enhanced bank holiday rates, mileage contribution for drivers, flexible working hours (full‐time, part‐time and casual) and 24/7 employee well‐being support.

Responsibilities

Personal care (washing, dressing, continence support)

Medication and meal preparation

Household tasks and daily routines

Encourage independence and provide companionship

Support complex care (tracheostomy, PEG feeding, postural support), children's support and mental health support when trained.

Qualifications

At least 18 years old

Flexible hours, including alternate weekends

Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references

6 months hands‐on UK care experience required for Complex Care, Children's or Mental Health duties.
