Role OverviewAs a Care Assistant, you will support clients with daily living activities, personal care, and companionship. You'll help maintain a safe and positive environment while ensuring clients' health and wellbeing needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility

Support with meal preparation and medication management

Provide companionship and emotional support

Help with light domestic tasks and cleaning

Drive clients to appointments or social activities (if required)

Monitor health status and report concerns to healthcare professionals

Deliver care to individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or behavioural conditions

Follow health and safety protocols, including administering first aid when necessary

Required Skills and Experience

Caring nature, patience, and positive attitude

Strong communication skills in English

Ability to commit to a guaranteed hours rota

Willingness to learn and meet My Care's high standards

Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Familiarity with care plans and behaviour management techniques

Basic IT skills for record keeping
