Morning Care Assistant

Job description

We are recruiting compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our dedicated team in Buxton. This role supports elderly residents, many living with age-related conditions such as Alzheimer's and dementia. You will assist with daily needs, mobility, personal hygiene, nutritional care, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support residents with daily needs (mobility, personal hygiene, nutritional care)

Maintain a clean and safe environment through general housekeeping duties

Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions and promptly communicate incidents to senior staff

Adhere to health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures at all times

Required Qualifications

Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the update service

Up-to-date mandatory training certificates

Full up-to-date CVAt least two professional references covering a minimum of two years within formal care settings or community care

Additional Support

We can assist with obtaining a DBS and provide subsidised online training; certificates remain yours to keep

Working Hours and PayWorking hours: 07:00 to 14:30, with availability on various days. Pay: £12.71 per hour, rising to £13.33 per hour after 13 weeks.
