Role OverviewAs a Care Assistant, you will support clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, and assist with health and wellbeing needs. You'll play a vital role in helping individuals maintain independence while ensuring their comfort and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility

Support care plans tailored to individual health and wellbeing needs

Provide companionship and emotional support

Assist with medication management under healthcare guidance

Maintain accurate records of care provided and changes in client condition

Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams

Support with light domestic tasks such as meal preparation and cleaning

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum 6 months' experience in domiciliary or healthcare work

Caring, reliable, and professional attitude

Right to work in the UK

Local to Derby and surrounding areas

Strong communication skills in English

Full UK Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle

Previous experience in home care or healthcare settings

Familiarity with care plans and individualised support requirements

Basic IT skills for record keeping
