Applications that do not meet the essential criteria will not be progressed.The Recruitment Crowd is expanding and we are recruiting experienced Childrens Residential Support Workers to join our temporary agency workforce, supporting children and young people in UK residential care settings.This is agency-based work. It is not a permanent or full-time position, and hours cannot be guaranteed. This role is best suited to professionals who already have solid experience in childrens residential care and are comfortable working flexibly across services.Important Eligibility Information We do not offer sponsorship.We cannot work with candidates who require sponsorship now or in the future.You must already have full Right to Work in the UK.Applications that do not meet this requirement will not be considered.Essential Experience (Non‐Negotiable) To be considered, you must have recent, paid experience working in the UK with children and young people in a residential setting.You must have:A minimum of 6 months experience working with Looked After Children within a UK childrens residential settingExperience gained within the UK (overseas experience alone cannot be considered)Applications without this specific experience will unfortunately not be progressed.The Role As an Agency Childrens Residential Support Worker, you will:Provide high-quality care, guidance, and emotional support to children and young peoplePromote independence, safety, and wellbeing at all timesFollow individual care plans and behaviour support strategiesSupport the delivery of safe, engaging, and age-appropriate activitiesAccompany young people to appointments, education, and community activitiesMaintain accurate and timely records, including daily notes, incidents, medication, and family contactWork professionally alongside internal teams and external professionalsWhat We Are Looking For Minimum 6 months UK experience working with children in residential care (essential)Confidence working with Looked After Children and complex needsA calm, resilient, and professional approachStrong communication and record-keeping skillsEnhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain oneUK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)Full Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available)What We Offer Flexible agency shiftsWeekly payHoliday payOngoing training (online and in-person)24/7 support from our experienced branch teamFinal Notes This role is suitable for experienced childrens residential care professionals seeking flexible agency work.
