Director – Open to flexible workingWe're offering an exciting opportunity to join our International Corporate Tax Advisory (ICTA) team, a market leader in international corporate tax advisory and cross‐border M&A. This pure tax advisory role involves advising the largest corporations worldwide on international tax issues, working with top international tax Partners and a high‐performing team that has handled many large, complex, high‐profile projects.

You'll work with large UK and foreign‐owned MNCs on complex projects, focusing on strategies such as:

Expansion into new markets

Pre‐transaction reorganisations and post‐transaction integration

M&A deal structuring

Legal structure rationalisation

Operating model redesign

Optimisation of capital structure and financing

Optimisation of intellectual property ownership and reliefs

Managing risks from global law changes such as BEPS

Your Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain client relationships, proactively winning work and growing existing clients.

Manage the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding advisory projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical/commercial focus.

Overall responsibility for quality of client service.

Build networks internally and externally, collaborating with other EY teams globally to identify and capitalise on opportunities.

Build and develop client engagement teams, supervising, coaching and mentoring junior staff.

Significant involvement in team strategy and operations, including managing junior staff development and assignments.

Skills And Attributes For Success

Strong UK tax technical skills with cross‐border focus (e.g., CFCs, anti‐hybrid rules, loan relationships, intellectual property, Pillar 2).

Commitment to building strong client relationships and delivering quality outputs.

Business development skills, able to identify and convert opportunities to grow market.

Strong business acumen and ability to manage engagement financial results.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Strong tax technical skills and significant experience providing tax advice to large MNCs on complex, cross‐border issues.

Qualifications: ATT/ACA/CA/CTA preferred.

Experience managing a team and/or coaching and developing junior staff.
