Care Assistant - DomiciliaryPay: £14.60 per hour; £15.00 per hour on weekends; £29.20 per hour on bank holidays.

Hours: Full-time and part-time available, with contracted hours up to 30 per week.

Mileage: Paid 35p per mile (HMRC reclaim option).

Please note: No sponsorships or switches are currently offered. No male carers are currently being recruited.

We are recruiting Care Assistants for both part‐time and full‐time opportunities. Flexible hours are available, with a preference for early mornings (7.00–9.00) and evenings (7.00–10.00), including alternate weekends or the same day each weekend.

Responsibilities

Deliver personal care support (bathing, toileting, dressing)

Administer medications safely as per guidance

Provide companionship, emotional support, and encourage wellbeing

Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and dietary needs

Support with mobility assistance (e.g., transfers to chairs/wheelchairs)

Help with light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment

Keep accurate care records and daily observations

Requirements

Full UK driving licence, access to a car, and business insurance

Right to work in the UK

Caring, compassionate, and reliable nature

Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships

Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team

Willingness to work flexible shifts (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)

Previous experience in care work, support work, domiciliary care, or home care is desirable but not essential – full training provided

We will carry out a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced criminal record check if you are successful in being appointed. The post you are applying for is exempt from the provision of Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) (Amendment) Orders 1975 and 2001, and therefore all convictions, cautions and bind‐overs, including those regarded as 'spent', must be declared.
