Job responsibilitiesPackage Description: At Avery Healthcare, we support the people who care for our residents and celebrate their hard work. You will help make a positive impact on residents' lives each day with compassion and dedication.

Deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Assist residents in all personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times.

Recognise and understand clinical risk areas (weight loss, pressure sores, falls, infections) and raise any identified risks in a timely manner.

Act in a courteous way toward residents and visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.

Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

Essential skills and attributes

Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

Demonstrated initiative and respect toward residents and colleagues.

Efficient worker, capable of following reasonable instructions from team members.

Adaptable and flexible, able to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.

Requirements

DBS Disclosure check (cost will be met by Avery Healthcare).

Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
