Emotional and Behavioural Support Worker

Job description

We're looking for a dedicated Emotional and Behavioural Support Worker to join us, supporting pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour in a flexible roles throughout Bath and North East Somerset.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and can build strong, positive relationships with young people. You'll play a key role in helping pupils feel supported, stay engaged, and navigate challenges in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support pupils within lessons and across the school day

Provide targeted 1:1 emotional and behavioural support

De-escalate challenging situations calmly and effectively

Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning

Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
