About the RoleBecket Primary School is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice to join our dedicated EYFS team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with young children and eager to gain a recognised qualification while developing hands‐on experience in an Early Years setting. You will work across FS1 and FS2, supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing under the guidance of experienced staff.

Key Responsibilities

Support the class teacher in delivering high‐quality early years provision

Assist in planning and preparing engaging learning activities

Work with individual children and small groups, including those with SEND

Help to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment

Support children's emotional wellbeing using approaches such as emotion coaching and restorative practice

Observe and contribute to assessing children's progress

Assist with personal care and promote independence where needed

Requirements

Has a genuine interest in working with young children

Is keen to learn and develop professionally through an apprenticeship programme

Has good communication and teamwork skills

Is patient, caring and enthusiastic

Has GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 4 or above preferred)

Training and DevelopmentAs part of this role, you will:

Work towards a recognised Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification

Receive ongoing support and mentoring from experienced staff

Gain valuable practical experience in a school setting
