About the PracticeBupa Dental Care Moreton is a fast‐paced, patient‐focused practice with a strong team culture. You'll be supported by experienced clinicians and a Practice Manager who is passionate about developing apprentices and helping them succeed.

Working Hours

Full time – 40 hours per week

Monday to Friday

8:45am – 5:45pm

The RoleAs an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you'll be trained to:

Support clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures

Prepare and maintain surgery environments to a high standard

Deliver excellent patient care and reassurance

Follow infection control, health and safety and compliance procedures

Work effectively in a fast‐paced surgery environment

About You

Is passionate about dentistry and patient care

Is agile, proactive and motivated, able to work without prompting

Thrives in a busy, fast‐paced environment

Has strong communication skills and a professional attitude

Is committed to learning and developing within the role

No previous dental experience is required – just the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Qualifications you will achieve

Level 3 qualification following an 18‐24 month training programme

Achieve Level 2 English and Maths (equivalent to GCSEs at grades A* to C) before the end‐point assessment if not already achieved

Oral anatomy and physiology, respiratory and circulatory systems

How infectious diseases are transmitted and prevented

Dental materials, equipment and resources

Handling medical emergencies

Legislative compliance and regulatory requirements

Clinical skills

Health promotion

Patient care and management
