We're looking for an Acting Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly team at Douglas Court Care Home in Ivy Square, Derby. This full-time, permanent role pays £13.3 per hour. Part of the family-run Adept Care Homes , Douglas Court Care Home is a purpose-built, 43-bed residential dementia care home providing high-quality residential and dementia care in a supportive, welcoming environment. We're seeking a compassionate Acting Senior Care Assistant to join our team and make a real difference every day. In this role, you'll provide high-quality, person-centred care while stepping up to take on senior responsibilities such as administering medication, supporting and supervising care staff, keeping accurate records, and working closely with healthcare professionals. You'll play an important part in ensuring our residents receive respectful, personalised care that promotes their dignity and wellbeing. About the Acting Senior Care Assistant role

Pay of £13.39 per hour

33-44 hours per week

Night shifts: 19:00 - 07:00

Alternate weekend working required

What we are looking for

NVQ Level 2 in Care (essential)

NVQ Level 3 in Care (desirable)

Previous care experience (essential)

Previous senior care experience (desirable)

Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
