PositionHealth Care Assistant

OverviewJoin our team and support people in their own homes. Every day is different—help someone get ready in the morning, go for a walk, or be a friendly face and an ear to listen.

ResponsibilitiesProviding day‐to‐day care and support to vulnerable adults to enable them to live fully in their own homes.

Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including use and care of aids and personal equipment.

Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes.

Assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.

Helping with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks.

Supporting with medication administration.

Contributing as needed to a person's end‐of‐life care.

ScheduleWorking usual shift patterns: mornings 7am – 1:30pm or 2pm, evenings 4pm – 10pm, alternative weekend shifts. Full‐time and part‐time openings available.

Qualifications

Right to work in the UK.

A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.

No prior experience required, but you must demonstrate compassion, excellent communication and problem‐solving skills, and be committed to delivering high‐quality, respectful care.

Benefits

Rates £13.00pm – £16.60pm (pay twice weekly).

£0.35 per mile (additional mileage paid if distance between consecutive calls is greater than 4 miles).
