Mobile Care Assistant

Job description

Location & Working HoursLocation: Across Halifax & Surrounding Areas. A valid full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle is essential. Travel expenses are covered and mileage is paid at 43p per mile.

Hourly rate: £14.50 per hour, plus up to an additional £1.30 for evening and weekend hours.

Hours: Part‐time. Rota basis includes mornings, evenings and alternate weekends, with shifts anytime between 7 am to 10 pm.

Key Responsibilities

Support individual homeowners with personal care, including help with daily activities, personal hygiene and medication assistance.

Provide domestic support such as cleaning, shopping and managing household tasks.

Maintain communal areas within developments to a high standard, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.

Assist homeowners with social activities, transport arrangements and appointments, enhancing their overall wellbeing and social connections.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a care environment with Level 2 Health and Social Care is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.

Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and time‐management ability.

Valid full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between developments.

Flexibility to work on a rota basis that includes early mornings, late evenings and alternate weekends.
