PositionHealth Care Assistant

Job SummarySupport people in their own homes across Derbyshire, providing compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with mobility, use of aids, and personal equipment for service users.

Perform domestic tasks such as bed making, cleaning, laundry, and emptying commodes.

Provide personal care including washing, bathing, and toileting arrangements.

Prepare meals, snacks, and drinks, supporting eating and drinking.

Support medication administration.

Contribute to end‐of‐life care where required.

Requirements

Right to work in the UK.

Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Demonstrate compassion, effective communication, problem‐solving skills, and commitment to high‐quality, respectful care.

Rates £13.00ph – £16.60ph, paid bi‐weekly.

35p per mile for trips over 4 miles between calls.
