Care Assistant - Female Only

Job description

This role as a Care Assistant offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you care for. You'll be responsible for providing personal care, assisting with everyday tasks, and offering comfort and reassurance to help people remain independent and comfortable in their own homes.

Job Responsibilities

Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing and mobility.

Support clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation and other everyday tasks.

Offer comfort and reassurance to enable clients to remain independent and comfortable in their own homes.

Maintain client dignity and privacy at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

No prior experience required – full training and support will be provided.

Ability to work towards nationally recognised qualifications, such as QCF Level 5.

Full UK driving licence required (preferred).

Non‐UK nationals must have the right to work in the UK with at least 12 months left on their visa; currently no sponsorship available.

Role is restricted to female applicants only as a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) under the Equality Act 2010, due to the nature of providing personal care to women.

Submission for Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 required.
